Town of Preeceville

Preeceville Picnic Area
The picnic site is situated approximately 2.5 km east of Preeceville, and has both picnic facilities and a camping area.


Preeceville Wildlife Association Campground
This campground is located at the north end of town. It has 10 camp sites with electricity, running water and showers. There is a $25 per night voluntary camping fee. The campground is a three-minute walk to Annie Laurie Lake, Preeceville's newly developed beach and nature/bird trail area. Booking is first come first serve.


Sturgis & District Regional Park - Lady Lake Site
The park is situated 11 km north of Preeceville. It provides opportunities for swimming, boating, and camping.

Sturgis Park
The park is located 5 km east of Preeceville on Highway 49 and welcomes campers from May long weekend to Labour Day weekend during the summer months.  Electrical and non-electrical camping sites are available. For more information on fees call 306-548-2108.


Annie Laurie Lake
This lake is located on the north end of Preeceville and a short walk from the Preeceville Wildlife Federation Campgrounds.  It provides swimming, canoeing and boating.  It has picnic tables, washroom and change room facilities, a fire pit, a covered picnic area, dock and diving boards for swimmers, as well as the location of our nature trails.


Nelson Lake
This lake is located nine kilometers northwest of Preeceville, and is suitable for swimming, boating, and fishing. The shoreline is privately owned.


Crystal Lake

Crystal Lake is a small lake fed by natural underground springs. It is surrounded by the residential resort community of Crystal Lake. The lake is approximately 24 km (15 mi) southeast of Preeceville.


Schutte Lake Recreation Site
This recreation area is situated 48 km northwest of Preeceville, near Rockford.


McBride Lake
Located 72 km north of Preeceville, it has facilities for boating, fishing, swimming, and camping.


Good Spirit Provincial Park
This provincial park, with a large shallow lake and sand dunes, is located 72 km south of Preeceville (phone 306-792-4750). It features cabins, fishing, boating, swimming, golfing and shopping.


Duck Mountain Provincial Park
Situated approximately 100 km south-east of Preeceville (phone 306-542-5500), it features golfing, camping, boating, swimming, mini-golf and shopping.


Greenwater Provincial Park
Located about 100 km north-west of Preeceville (phone 306-278-3515), this park features a craft shop, horseback riding, camping, boating,golfing and swimming.
