Town of Preeceville Public Notices




Notice is hereby given to the public that the following streets will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic as follows:

  • Main Street N from 2nd Avenue NE to 3rd Avenue NW (Street in front of the Preeceville Community Legion Hall) will be closed from 5:00 pm on August 5th to 9:00 am on August 6th
  • Parade Route Streets (as set out on the map below) will be closed from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on August 5th.

These temporary closures are to accommodate the parade and street dance to be held during Preeceville's Canada 150 Celebration.

Any person using these closed streets as prohibited above, does so at his or her own risk; has no right to recover damages in case of accident or injury; and is liable for any damage or injury resulting from such use.

This notice is issued this 17th day of July, 2017 in accordance with Section 15 of The Municipalities Act.

Annual Notice To Consumers

The Town of Preeceville is required by the Ministry of Environment to provide water consumers with a drinking water quality and compliance report each year. This report states the quality of water produced and supplied by the town as well as information on the performance of the waterworks in submitting samples as required by the Minister’s Order or Permit to Operate a waterworks. The Towns 2016 report has been compiled and is now available for pick up at the Town Office.
