Ninety-five per cent of the streets in Preeceville are paved. They are swept in summer and snow is removed in winter.

Solid waste is collected from residences weekly on Mondays. Commercial collection is weekly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the summer months and on Mondays and Fridays in the winter months. Waste is disposed in a sanitary landfill.

Tuesday and Thursday : 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
The town has a very good water source, consisting of two wells with a pumping capacity of 200,000 gallons per day. The wells are 100 feet deep, and draw ground water from a gravel formation. The entire town is serviced.
The town reservoir has a capacity of 400,000 gallons, and peak consumption is 167,000 gallons per day. The water pressure is 32 p.s.i. The water is treated with chlorine at the well site, pumped to town and goes through the filtration system prior to being distributed.
The water rate is $35.33 monthly for 2000 gallons, or $106.00 quarterly for 6000 gallons, $4.64 per 1000 gallons over the 6000.
The two-compartment lagoon system serves all residents.
